Terms & Conditions

The rules for using this website and for ordering candy from us. Short version: the form is a request, not a purchase, and we will always confirm before anything is made.

Effective date: 1 November 2026. By using this website you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

Wren & Whim Confectionery, 2717 Huntington Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55416, USA. You can reach us at info@vexquri.cfd or +1 (612) 871-5147.

2. What this website is

This site describes our candy and lets you send us an order request. It is not a shop: there is no shopping cart, no online checkout and no payment processing. Submitting the form does not create a contract and does not reserve stock.

3. Requests, quotes and confirmation

When you send a request, we reply by email with availability, price, taxes where applicable, and a proposed pick-up or shipping date. An order exists only when you confirm those details in writing and we acknowledge your confirmation. We may decline a request — for example if the date is not achievable, the quantity is beyond what a small kitchen can make properly, or the request is outside what we do.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are quoted per order in US dollars and are valid for 14 days from the date of the quote. Payment arrangements are given in the quote email: in person at the workshop, or by invoice. We never ask for card details through this website or by email, and you should treat any message that does as fraudulent.

5. Lead times and seasonal limits

Everything is made to order in small batches. Typical lead time is two to three days for standard candies and two to three weeks for large or custom orders, and longer from mid-November to the end of December. We will always tell you the realistic date rather than the one you would prefer to hear.

6. Pick-up and shipping

Orders can be collected at the workshop during opening hours; we hold them for two weeks. Where we ship, risk passes to you on delivery to the carrier, but if your order arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours with a photograph and we will replace or refund the affected items. We do not ship in weather that would damage hard candy in transit, and we will tell you if your date falls in such a period.

7. Allergens and ingredients

Our candy is made in a small kitchen that handles sugar, dairy-derived ingredients and spices, and it is not presented as allergen-free. We publish flavour descriptions rather than full recipes, but we will always provide the complete ingredient and allergen information for a specific batch on request, before you confirm an order. It is your responsibility to ask if you need it. Our candy is a confectionery product, not a food intended for any medical or nutritional purpose.

8. Cancellation and changes

You can change or cancel at any time before we begin cooking your batch. Once candy has been cooked to your specification it cannot be returned to the kettle, so cancellation after that point is at our discretion, and custom-colour orders are non-refundable once the first cook has been made.

9. No health or medical claims

Nothing on this website is a health claim, a promise of any effect, or a substitute for medical advice. Our candy contains sugar. If you have a medical condition that affects what you eat, speak to your doctor.

10. Accuracy of information

We try to keep descriptions, availability and opening hours accurate and up to date, but they can change without notice. Colours and patterns vary between batches because everything is made by hand; photographs are representative of a candy, not a guarantee of the exact piece you will receive.

11. Intellectual property

The text, photographs, design and code on this site belong to Wren & Whim Confectionery unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to share links and to quote short passages with credit. Please do not republish whole pages or use our photographs commercially without asking.

12. Acceptable use

Do not use this site to send unlawful, abusive or misleading messages, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, or to submit automated bulk requests. We block spam and we keep records of abusive submissions.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of Hennepin County, Minnesota.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. The terms that apply to your order are the ones in place on the day you confirmed it.

16. Questions

If anything here is unclear, ask us before you order: info@vexquri.cfd, or +1 (612) 871-5147.
